Analytics Engineer

Support teams in companies, such as Wise, Pipedrive, Epic Games, and SoundCloud, use Klaus to review & improve their customer service quality.

Our quickly expanding, international team has embraced the remote-first mindset from day one. We’re looking for an Analytics Engineer to transform raw data into actionable information, ultimately driving the success of our projects and initiatives. You can join our office in Tallinn, Estonia, or remotely from anywhere between UTC-1 and UTC+4.

What to expect? 🧐

  • Design and implement data models & data marts to support reporting and analytical needs
  • Regular communication and collaboration with our Product Engineers to facilitate requirements and scope for data ingestion
  • Integrate analytics and visualization tools with the data infrastructure to enable self-service reporting and dashboards
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency within the data architecture
  • Help to define and improve our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale data infrastructure
  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation for data pipelines, data models, and processes
  • Define ETL processes for necessary transformations

  • 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering or related role
  • Track record with Python/R and SQL to drive business insights
  • Effective communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and directly
  • Demonstrated proficiency in designing and implementing data models to support reporting and analytical needs
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices for efficient reporting
  • Prior experience in utilizing a Business Intelligence (BI) Tool and adeptness in constructing data models tailored to it
