Overview

Solafune develops AI and cloud-processing technologies for satellite and geospatial data. We are looking for a Geospatial Data Scientist to apply satellite data and geospatial analytics to real-world challenges in the energy and mining industries.

You will develop data-driven insights for applications such as resource exploration, asset monitoring, and environmental analysis, turning geospatial research into practical solutions for customers.

Responsibilities

Develop and validate technologies for new development projects
Develop and validate satellite data analysis techniques
Develop new technology for R&D projects
Conduct extensive research and development using satellite data,　geospatial data, GIS tools, etc.

Required Skills

Research experience in mathematical and information sciences
Experience in working with satellite data, geospatial data
Programming experience with Python, R, C, or C++
Ph.D. in mathematical, information science, engineering OR equivalent level of work experience and skills (negotiable)
