The Role

As Head of Marketing, you will serve as the global brand architect and core marketing steward during EnerVenue's critical global commercial scaling phase. This senior leadership role is built for strategic cross-regional operators capable of translating complex aerospace-derived nickel-hydrogen battery technology into persuasive, differentiated market narratives, and building a full-stack global marketing system to drive scalable commercial growth. You will collaborate directly with CRO, CTO, and full executive team to lock global market positioning, accelerate sales pipeline growth across APAC, North America, and Europe, and establish EnerVenue as the undisputed global leader in long-duration grid-scale energy storage.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Global Market Positioning

  • Own full lifecycle management of EnerVenue global brand identity, unified messaging framework and cross-region visual standard system across all online & offline touchpoints.
  • Develop clear, differentiated competitive positioning for our metal-hydrogen stationary storage product portfolio versus lithium, flow and lead-acid storage solutions.
  • Act as global brand custodian to guarantee consistent brand expression as the company expands manufacturing footprint and enters new regional markets & vertical segments (utility, C&I, microgrid, remote off-grid).

Demand Generation & Sales Pipeline Growth

  • Design and execute integrated cross-regional marketing campaigns to generate high-quality, sales-ready leads across utility power producers, independent power developers, large industrial & commercial energy consumers, microgrid operators.
  • Formulate and roll out account-based marketing (ABM) strategies targeting top-tier global utility groups and multinational industrial clients.
  • Oversee end-to-end digital marketing matrix including global website operation, SEO/SEM, social media, marketing automation platforms, with clear ROI tracking and performance optimization cycles.

Content System & Industry Thought Leadership

  • Build a standardized global content engine covering technical whitepapers, customer case studies, technical datasheets, webinar series, brand video assets and earned media materials.
  • Lead executive communication support including CEO speech drafting, keynote presentation preparation, media spokesperson training and global investor narrative alignment.
  • Deeply collaborate with global R&D, electrode & cell engineering teams to convert complex electrochemical and manufacturing advantages into customer-oriented, easy-to-comprehend market storytelling materials.

Global Events, PR & Policy Communications

  • Manage full-cycle planning, execution and ROI tracking for core global industry summits including RE+, SNEC, Energy Storage Summit and World Energy Congress.
  • Formulate global PR, industry analyst relations strategy to amplify company financing milestones, gigafactory progress, customer project signings and technology breakthroughs, building industry-wide credibility.
  • Coordinate with government affairs and policy teams to align marketing communications around domestic manufacturing policy benefits, clean energy subsidies and grid transition incentives across major regions.

Marketing Team Building & Operational Governance

  • Recruit, build, mentor and lead a cross-regional high-performance marketing team covering brand, digital, content and event functions; manage global external marketing agencies and vendor contractors.
  • Establish unified global marketing KPIs, real-time data dashboards and standardized weekly/monthly performance reporting cadence for executive review.
  • Manage annual global marketing budget with rigorous cost control, strictly orienting all investment toward measurable commercial pipeline and brand equity outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years end-to-end B2B industrial marketing experience, with no less than 3 years global marketing leadership management experience.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling full marketing functions for growth-stage cleantech, energy storage, power grid or heavy infrastructure hardware startups.
  • Deep professional expertise covering global brand strategy, full-funnel demand generation and industrial technical content marketing, with complete portfolio of successful cross-regional marketing projects.
  • Outstanding cross-cultural written & verbal communication capability; able to distill complex battery electrochemistry for C-suite executives, industrial customers, industry media and financial analysts.
  • Data-driven decision mindset; hands-on operation experience with mainstream CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation tools (HubSpot / Marketo) and multi-dimensional data analytics platforms.
  • Proven capability to operate efficiently under fast-paced, rapid scaling startup environments with limited initial marketing resources, delivering measurable business growth with lean teams and budgets.
  • Professional bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin for cross-border headquarters and China manufacturing base coordination.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Solid industry background in stationary energy storage, battery cell & system engineering, power grid infrastructure or renewable wind & solar sectors.
  • Direct marketing experience selling capital-intensive grid storage hardware solutions to global utility groups and large multinational industrial enterprises.
  • In-depth familiarity with major regional energy policy frameworks including US IRA, FERC rules, EU Net Zero regulations and China new energy storage incentive policies.
  • Prior marketing leadership experience at companies undergoing large financing rounds, IPO preparation or gigawatt-scale manufacturing capacity expansion.
  • Extensive global industry network across APAC, North America and Europe covering energy media, industry analysts, utility decision-makers and top exhibition organizers.
