About The Team

Join our Website & Organic Growth team, the engineering team behind Employment Hero's public website.

Working at the intersection of engineering, design, marketing and growth, you'll help build the experiences that drive how hundreds of thousands of businesses discover and engage with Employment Hero. Our work is fast-moving, highly visible, and directly connected to business growth.

You'll work on a large-scale WordPress multisite platform, collaborating with designers, SEO specialists, and growth experts in an AI-first environment where speed, ownership, and impact matter.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain custom WordPress functionality across a large-scale multisite platform
• Develop custom Gutenberg blocks, templates and reusable website components
• Build responsive user experiences using React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Collaborate closely with designers, SEO specialists and growth teams to deliver high-quality website experiences
• Improve website performance, maintainability and user experience
• Use AI as a core part of your daily workflow to accelerate delivery and improve decision making
• Take ownership of work from idea through to production

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience with modern WordPress development, including custom Gutenberg blocks, themes, plugins, and multisite environments
• Solid PHP and frontend engineering skills, including React and TypeScript
• Strong ownership and the ability to independently deliver production-ready solutions
• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments where priorities evolve, and ambiguity is normal
• A strong eye for quality, usability, and attention to detail
• AI is already a natural part of how you work, not something you're just starting to explore
• Comfortable collaborating remotely and communicating in English
