About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Product and Marketing Business Data Analyst to join our team. This role focuses on driving marketing performance, customer growth, and ROI optimization through advanced analytics and business intelligence. You will partner closely with marketing, product, account managers, and data teams to shape data-driven marketing strategies, build scalable reporting frameworks, and deliver actionable insights across acquisition, retention, and lifecycle initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the design, development, and optimization of marketing dashboards and reporting frameworks in BI tools (e.g. Metabase), ensuring visibility into core KPIs such as MQL, CAC, LTV, funnel conversion rates, and campaign ROI to overall pipeline.
- Work in a continuous feedback loop with rev ops, data product managers and data engineers to refine data models, improve data quality, and ensure marketing analytics requirements are accurately captured and scalable with the CRM tools.
- Lead deep-dive analyses on marketing performance, customer acquisition channels performance, and lifecycle behavior to identify growth opportunities and optimization levers.
- Write advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and model large-scale marketing and customer datasets for both recurring reporting and exploratory analysis.
- Partner with marketing stakeholders to define measurement frameworks, attribution models, and success metrics aligned with business goals.
- Drive customer segmentation, product feature usage analysis, cohort analysis, and customer journey analytics to support targeted campaigns, product feature development & strategies, activation optimization strategies, and retention initiatives.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across marketing data sources (e.g., CRM, ad platforms, web analytics), and contribute to scalable data models and documentation.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business-related field (e.g., Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, or related discipline).
- 6-8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or data analytics roles, preferably in fintech, tech, or high-growth environments.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
- Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Metabase) and building scalable dashboards for business stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing concepts, including attribution models, funnel analysis, A/B testing, and performance marketing metrics.
- Experience working with marketing data sources (e.g., Hubspot, Google Analytics, CRM systems, ad platforms).
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence marketing strategy through data.
- Experience mentoring or leading junior team members is a plus.
